CFY

Certified Flight Nurses (CFYs) are registered nurses who specialize in providing medical care to patients during air transport. They work closely with flight doctors and other healthcare professionals to ensure that patients receive the best possible care. CFYs must have a strong understanding of emergency medicine and the equipment used in air transport. The job requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure, and a strong attention to detail. CFYs must also be able to work effectively in a team environment and be able to manage their time efficiently. They typically work for air ambulance services or private companies. The job requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree in nursing and a certification in flight nursing.
