Laboratory Jobs Task & Duties

Laboratory technicians perform the following duties:

  • Perform laboratory tests such as blood tests and urinalyses
  • Analyze samples and report test results
  • Assist pathologists and other medical professionals in developing treatment plans
  • Monitor patients' vital signs during testing
  • Restock supplies and equipment as needed
