Interventional Radiology Nurse
Interventional Radiology Nurses work in interventional radiology laboratories, assisting radiologists and other medical professionals in diagnosing and treating various medical conditions using minimally invasive procedures. Their primary responsibilities include preparing patients for procedures, monitoring vital signs during procedures, and providing post-procedure care. Interventional Radiology Nurses must have strong communication skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a thorough understanding of interventional radiology procedures. They typically require a Bachelor's degree in Nursing and a current RN license. Certification in BLS and ACLS is often required.
